COUNSELLING AND ASSESSMENT SERVICES RED DEER

Support for the
hard parts of being human

Calm, purposeful counselling in Red Deer where, together,
we figure out your next steps.

If you’re here, chances are
something feels off—heavier,
messier or harder to carry on
your own.

You might be functioning, but tired. Managing, but stretched. Wanting support,
but unsure where to begin.

At It Takes Practice, we believe therapy in Red Deer should feel
calm, human and supportive—not overwhelming. You don’t need
to have the right words to begin.
We’ll help you find them,
together, and take the next steps at a pace that feels doable.

ABOUT IT TAKES PRACTICE

A team here to support you

When you’re struggling, finding the right support can feel like one
more heavy decision to make. At It Takes Practice, you don’t have to
figure it out on your own.

We’re a collaborative team of psychologists in Red Deer, Central Alberta,
who share the same values and standard of care, while bringing
different perspectives and areas of focus. We consult with one
another and work together behind the scenes so you’re supported in
the best way possible.

You don’t need to know who the “right” therapist is right away. We’ll
help guide you toward a good fit and if your needs change over time,
we’ll support you through that, too.
